I have posted messages on other Christian sites inviting other Christians to visit Basic Christian forum. I feel that as Host of Basic Christian it is my responsibility to make Basic Christian a forum where Christians Know that they are Valued and Welcome!
As part of my Obligation to other Christians it a requirement that Basic Christian be Christian Friendly an Obligation that I consider an Honor to uphold.

I also know and consider that many non-Christians post on this forum and their posts are valued. I do not want to delete any posts, but when Disrespectful and Vulgar posts are made it is required that they be deleted. To keep your post from being deleted, Please be respectful!

*note some people for whatever reason write then change their mind and delete their own post, which is their option, Not Every Deleted post is my action.

** I know that some come here wanting to Blaspheme, and to cause anger and strife, and some Only to promote their own religions.

Deleting of Posts is a valued tool to keep the Content and the Tone of the form Relevant and Friendly in manner.

As for those who complain, Please do us all a Favor and stop with the Theatrics and the persecution ploy because it is only an act.

To that end I will be more vigorous in deleting posts.

In other words: "you'd better agree with everything I say or I'll give you a little preview of the hell I .... erhhm.... you are going to spend eternity in"
does that about cover it?

If you were, for whatever reason, to find yourself on a mormon forum would you treat them with the same respect? No.

Infact do you show respect to the Mormon(s) on this forum? No.

"Do not unto others what thou dost not want done unto thee"

One thing that's interesting about the Davidian censorship is that, while asserting that this forum is for Christian links only, he has censored links in my postings to passages in the Bible, which I think any reasonable person would agree is unquestionably Christian content, with his only discernable objection being that these passages are located on an LDS site; but at the same time, he has allowed the self-professed Pagans to post links to openly Pagan content, and he has not censored them at all.

I would accuse him of censoring my links only because my posts are challenging to his position in a way that the openly-Pagan postings are not, except that lately, he's even censored me in postings on matters where I would expect him to be in agreement with me. I guess I will never understand Davidian thinking.

When will we learn that all human beings are biased in some way and will, when its in their power, remove the opposing veiw. The definitions of words like "respect" "polite" and even"love" are wide open to individual interpretation as an example i responded to a post in a "christian" forum where a woman was saying that only certain kinds of music should be allowed in church and that those who used other types were not worshiping correctly.I responded by saying that she was making a whole lot of assumptions about others based on her own personal preferences in music. The forum host responded to me by saying that she was not making assumptions but just giving her opinion.I responded by saying that yes she was giving her opinion and making a whole lot of assumptions about others in the process. The host responded and said that i needed to"respect"authority,in other words change the meaning of the word assumption to suit mine or get out. There was no vulgarity or profanity or name calling i had just dared to disagree with her and her buddy,i had interupted their little holy huddle and had to go.This kind of petty vane egotistical behaviour is not what one expects in a ...christian forum.

Really? Why not? I mean, aren't "Christians" just regular people like you and me with natural, human foibles?

Just because one claims to be a follower of Christ doesn't mean they stop being human or are suddenly transformed into perfect, error-free individuals with no hangup, insecurities or emotional tendencies. All "Christian" means is that we are aware of our imperfections and our need for God's forgiveness and help.

An alcoholic that is practicing abstinence is no less of an alcoholic than one who is still drinking. He/she is simply making an effort to change for the better. Most alcoholics don't make it. Neither do most Christians.

What's so hard to understand/accept?

May the LORD bless you and keep you.
May the LORD show you his kindness and have mercy on you.
May the LORD watch over you and give you peace.
